NAIDOC ASSEMBLY

ASSEMBLY TIME CHANGE Today's NAIDOC celebration assembly will now begin at 1.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please be advised that class photos will be taken on the following days:

Tuesday 3rd July - Kinder Gunn, Prep Sanzone, 3/4 Robinson, 6 Bell, 3/4 Porthouse/Fitzpatrick, 1 Austwick/Grave, 3/4 Bevan/Douglas, 5 Haley, 5/6 Heier

Thursday 5th July - Kinder Jarvis, Kinder/Prep Munro, Prep/1 Gorring, 2 Psereckis, 1 Shaw/Winter, 5/6 Friend/Pullen, 3/4 Jarman/Finlayson, 1/2 Patterson/Grave, 2 Osterloh, 5 Stanborough

Family photos will be scheduled over both days, with priority being given to families with Kinder children as they are only here on either the Tuesday OR the Thursday. All other family photos will be taken when time is available with the photographers.

Family/Sibling Photos

A reminder that all requests for family/sibling photos need to be returned to the office by tomorrow (Friday, 29th June). Please return envelopes and money by this time if you wish to have a family photo taken. These will be scheduled over both days of the photos, ie. Tuesday 3rd and Thursday 5th July. Individual envelopes are not to be returned until THE DAY OF THE PHOTOS. A photo schedule will be sent home with students tomorrow.

Cross Country

Our Grade 3-6 Cross Country will be held on Thursday the 3rd of May.

The times are as following:

9.30am-10.15am: Gr 5

10.15am-10.55am: Gr 6

11.30am-12.05pm: Gr 3

Be a CyberSmart Parent

ALERT - Social Media and your child - Be a Cyber Smart Parent

Students at Margate are on social media sites that they are not meant to be on as they are too young.

SnapChat, Facebook, Pinterest, Google Plus, Twitter, Instagram are only for children 13 years and older. Even YouTube is meant to be for 18 year plus!

It is very important that you check the devices in your home (phones, iPads, computers) so you are aware of what social media your child is accessing. It is also important to check whether they are using your social media with their own log in. There are parental blocking programs that you can use.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) – MPS SCHOOL ASSOCIATION

The MPS School Association will hold their AGM on Tuesday the 28th of November 2017, starting at 6.30 in the Staff Room at Margate Primary School. All are welcome.

Elections for vacant committee positions, appoint Office Bearers for 2018, the presentation of reports, and other general business will take place.

Raffle Tickets
